Re: Yiddish capitalization

Elliot Gertel's response to the question about capitalization in
transliterated Yiddish once again proves the correctness of the adage,
"When in doubt, ask a librarian." If you look at YIVO scholarly
publications such as the several volumes of _The Field of Yiddish_,
you'll see that the norm is as he described it: to follow the practice
of most European languages in capitalizing only the first word of a
title plus personal names. There's some inconsistency with respect to
geographical terms, which are usually (but not by everyone) left in
lower case in transliterated Yiddish.
