I use musicmatch mp3 player. it is much easier to use but you can not edit
the files directly from it. on the tool bar, click on options, click on
recorder, click on source and select line in or mike in. set up your mic,
and then click on view, click on recorder. you can name the file and artist
in the recorder window BEFORE YOU BEGIN RECORDING. when you see the
recorder, click on record and voila,,,,you are recording whatever you want.
when you are done, just click on stop. Your file will be in the default
which is usually in mydocuments/mymusic folder. you can set the default
folder as well for your files.
