Re: Yiddish song?



Could it be the song "Dray Yingelech" (Goychberg/Gelbart), or version of it,
where in the first verse the little boy asks for a new pair of shoes  ("dos
drite hot geheysn... men zol im koyfn shikh...")...long shot?
