I'm just wondering if traditional Eastern European Jewish dances are still
done to any extent at Orthodox/Hasidic simkhes in other parts of the world.
I read an article that the macarena was the popular dance at least in the
late 90's http://www.jewishsf.com/bk971024/etcraze.htm. Are klezmer
festivals going to be the only places where we continue to do these dances?
