Sephardic artists/NYC concerts/Questions

Chevra,

I see that Hazan Marc Hazan will perform an evening of Moroccan music at 
Shearith Israel on Saturday, Jan 27 at 8:30 pm. He evidenly has a new 
recording "Tehilot Israel." Does anyone know more about the performer or 
this recording?

How about Ofri Elias & Sahar Ensemble, performing "Medieval Judeo-Spanish 
(Ladino) music with a Middle Easter Flavor" Sun, June 10, 2 pm at the 
Center for Jewish History, also in NYC. Anything on these performers, and 
have they any recordings?
