Re: We have "Essen"



As noted in Henry Sapoznik's  "Klezmer!  Jewish Music from Old World to Our 
World" (pg. 170-171), the other famous recording is by Lee Tulley.  I taped 
it off an old record "Allan Sherman & Friends" which is long out of print.  
It was great to listen to on the way to past Klezkamps at the Paramount 
Hotel.  Speaking of the Catskills, does anyone know who did the song "We're 
Gonna Hitchhike up to the Catskills" which was featured in the film "The Rise 
and Fall of the Borscht Belt?"
