Taken from notes accompanying a CD:

Israel Hochman: arranger and band leader for popular and cantorial singers,
and in 1921 for Yiddish comedians Gus Goldstein and Clara Gold...bands
consisted of 6-7 pieces: clar. trombone, flute, fidl, cornet, piano, drums,
bass...made 2 sets of recordings for balalika...recordings made between
1916 and 1925 for 10 labels.
