sorry not music related

sorry this isn't music related. does anyone know where i can find information 
about a 16th century author named Abraham ben Eliezer haLevi? there is a story 
of his in howard schwartz's "jewish tales of the supernatural" called "helen of 
troy". i'm doing a paper on it for a class. please email me privatly.
