Concert Announcement: David Chevan's Semitic Experience

On Monday, October 2 at 8:30 p.m., David Chevan's Afro-Semitic Experience
will be performing at the Buttonwood Tree in Middletown, CT.  Because of the
timeliness of the night, it falls between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur, the
evening is entitled "Reflections on the Days of Awe". The band will feature
new original pieces, interpretations of seasonally related pieces along with
the Afro-Semitic Experience's usual repertoire of Jewish and
African-American music. The first set begins at 8:30 and it should be a
pretty intense evening of music.  The line-up for those evenings will
include Will Bartlett on sax, Stacy Phillips on dobro and violin, Benjamin
Proctor on trumpet,  Jason Miles on drums, and Warren Byrd on piano. There
will also be special guest appearances by members of Chevan's Creative Music
Orchestra. The Buttonwood Tree is located at 605 Main Street in Middletown
