And totally off-topic, I must acknowledge the bassoon in the local klezmer
band, "Gay Iz Mir," that played at the Megilla reading I attended earlier 
this week in San Francisco. Worked quite well!

So, let me add my non-musician voice of support to the concept of klezmer
oboe, as well ;-).
