Re: Jewish Music?: Druckman

Glancing through my files, I came across the following program at the
U.S. Holocaust Museum including Ran's setting of Nelly Sachs poetry.

March 26, 2000
Tom Myron "Kathe Kollwitz for Soprano & String Quartet" with poems by
Muriel Rukeyser (1998) !
Sheila Silver "Piano Trio "To the Spirit Unconquered" (1992) !
inspired by Primo Levi's writing on the Holocaust
about the human spirit's ability to transcend devastating
circumstances
Shulamit Ran "O the Chimneys" (1969)

Bob
