That's a very old version of it. A MUCH better one is in Stacey
Beckwith, ed."Charting Memory: Recalling Medieval Spain" (Garland,
2000), which also has some interesting articles about Jewish poets in
medieval Spain and a very good one by Dwight Reynolds on perceptions of
Andalusian music. Most libraries should be getting it: Garland is pretty
standard. It's actually a separate special issue of the Journal Hispanic
Images (or something like that!) Judith
