Bob,
These sound like one-time theatrical performances Diane has arranged to do
as an independent agent or an academic instructor at various venues, but
she is not playing "in the Yiddish theater" which is the phrase I was
responding to. I knew about her Brooklyn College performance, but nothing
about her recent activities. I am very glad to hear that she is
continuing. Please send me her e-mail address or give her mine and ask her
to let me know about whatever she is doing so that I can post it on
YiddishNet.
I don't know Diane well, but I have always been sorry that she is no longer
performing at the Folksbiene. I always thought she was an asset to the
Folksbiene.
Reyzl

Reyzl,
I guess that my sense of the present extends further into the past
than yours.
I saw Diane perform at the Folksbiene a number of years ago, I don't
recall the number. This past month she directed a reading (and
probably participated herself in it) by a cast of about a dozen.
(This was not in Yiddish.) It may be that she no longer commits
herself to extended theater runs because of family obligations.
This past fall Diane had a recital including Yiddish songs on campus
and I believe had another one (containing Yiddish songs written by her
father?) last spring in Brooklyn.
If you'd like, I can keep you posted as to her next Yiddish activities
and maybe we'll meet each other there.
Bob
