Re: Jews and the Blues

There is a terrific Adon Olam I've played on the show in blues style. the
cd is Heart & Soul by Shawn Israel Zevit. If you can not find, call the
Reconstructionist Seminary in Philadelphia. He is a rabbi there. I also
recommend Shabbat at BJ and Craig Taubman's Friday night live. Steve
Dropkin has a great Ein Kelohenu on his CD keep Our Hopes Alive. If you do
not have these, I recommend hatikvahmusic.com. If you have a problem, I can
get you in touch with Judy Caplan Ginsburgh. She distributes Steve
Dropkin's work. Also you can now post these type of questions on the nusach
list. I am sure that there are many Chazzanim on the list already who can
give you advise.
