I think you missed the point of the poll. This is not a poll on who is the
most popular, but who influenced the course of the world in the 20th Century,
be they for the good or the bad.
That being the criteria, Hitler definitely has my vote. Look at our music,
"Zug Nit Kein Mul", "Vie Ahein Zol Ich gein", even "Hatikvah" (in this case
the Anthem, not the store) they all came about from a very negative event.
It would have been better that the reason for these songs and so many others
- as well as"Schindler's List" and all the Holocaust Museums in the world
should not exist today, but unfortunately they do....for this, you can
"credit" Hitler.
For me, he is the most influential person of the 20th Century...that in
itself is a tragedy!
