Re: YIDDISH AMERICANA WORLD MUSIC CONCERT 12/19/99

Fraidy Katz is the vocalist for the New-England based "The Klezical
Tradition",
whose CD "Family Portrait" (1999) was recently selected one of the Top Ten
Klezmer CDs of the Year by music journalist Seth Rogovoy in Moment
Magazine.

Fraidy sings "Vilna" (1992) on the docu-music video of the same name, with
her old band-mates, "Klezamir". She appears on the Yiddish CD
"Transmigrations" and the English-language "Unbounded" (both by Wolf
Krakowski).

She is also a talented Yiddish teacher and translator of long experience.

She has her own webpage at: http://www.kamea.com
