Hi, my friend Joaquina in Madrid is doing a study of Spanish Civil War 
period songs, and a Yiddish one showed up which she just wrote to ask me 
about. She asks:
"Does the song [her spelling] "Af Leb'n un toit a Farband" ring a bell for 
you; it appears linked to the German group?"
I'm sure I could poke around and find it but I'm equally sure most of you
