Re: Old Hungarian Music Depictions

Pete. Those pictures are a treat! Recently returned from Hungary, saw a
number of groups playing these same instrument combinations. Incidentally,
the Hungarian group, Muzsikas, which has a fine CD entitled "Maramaros...
the lost Jewish music of Transylvania" , is appearing in Cincinnati on
Sunday Oct 10 featuring Marta Sebestyen as part of "WorldJam" a two day
admission-free outdoor festival. The Cincinnati Klezmer Project will appear
earlier in the day, featuring Michele Gingras-clarinet, Irina
Bernatsky-mandolin, Josh Moss-keyboard and vocals and yours truly on the
violin.
