in Hebrew, TAKHLIT means Aim, Purpose, End, and
in Yiddish, TAKHLES means Result, Practical purpose, Serious
business.

"Tachlis" means "task," with the overtone of obligation or
responsibility. So Tashlich is actually a tachlis . . .
Someone fluent in Hebrew could best define <takhlis> for us.
