events in NYC 8/24-29

Now it's my turn to ask about recommendations for events happening in a
city I'll be visiting.  I.e. klezmer/Yiddish/Jewish concerts and events
worth seeing in NYC during 8/24-29.

Know about Tonic brunches and the Knit already, and about "The Gathering"
and will look in Jewish Week and the Forward.  So far, it seems that most
everyone will be away that week, but if you have anything to recommend,
please do so.  Thanks.
