RE: FW: RUN-DMC--just a little lite humor

I hope Reyzl and others will not mind my footnoting her quite serious and
frightening postings w/ a mild pleasantry. To wit, By enlarging on the
Seagrams association with E. Bronfman in the syntactical place she did,
Reyzl, strictly speaking (it was obvious what she meant) gave the impression
that Seagrams is associated w/ misogynistic, sex-filled lyrics--an
intriguing idea. But what it brought to mind was that there was a Staten
Island doo-wop group called the Elegants who got their name (and misspelled
it) off a Seagrams bottle. Their biggest song (#1 nationally) was "(Where
Are You) Little Star"--now that's as far from misogynistic (and, I guess,
lewdly) sex-filled lyrics as you can get. Ah, innocence!
