When I received the mail asking for Jewish content, I connected Samuel 
Adler's name to his sister, who is a member of our minyan.  I forwarded the 
question to her and the following is her response.

Marianne Adler Aaron is pleased to inform you that Samuel Adler's work is a
major choral and symphonic work of Bibical content...Marianne and Ron had an
opportunity to see the performance at Lincoln Center (Fisher Hall) last year
on May 3rd, 1998, with full symphony orchestra and a 200 voice choir.  A
spectacular performance of which all the works on the program were Sam
Adler's music including his 2nd piano concerto. I hope this info will be
useful to you.  Let us know what you are planning and maybe we can be of
