Jewish music course idea requests

Thanks to everyone who has responded to my request for ideas and info
regarding this course I am developing.  Its great to get input when at the
beginning stages of a project.  Given the way beaurcracies are organized
I'll bet I don't to offer the course for at least another semester or two,
but at least I'm off to a good start.  Once again, if you have any ideas,
old syllabi, names of old college profs etc. please feel free to send these
my way.  I have to say, the varied nature of the responses gives me some
real hope here.  In the future I'll be plugging my own activities on this
line, but for now
