Jewish "Gypsy" music

Hello, Paul,

A fascinating subject you bring up, as usual.

Here's an example for you.
I have in my LP collection a record called "Play Gypsy Play: Primas Stefan
and His Royal Tziganes" (Monitor MFS 715), which I acquired some 19 years
ago. Well, the "tzigane" in question is actually the classical violinist
and violin professor Steven Staryk. He is described as of Ukrainian
descent, but I believe he's Jewish. (You'd have to verify this for sure.)

The numbers are mostly "chestnuts":

Play Gypsy Play" (Kalman)
Dobra Dobra (arr. "P. Stefan")
Black Eyes (arr. L. Salzedo)
Hejre Dati (Hubay)
Zigeunerweisen (Sarasate)
Hungarian Dance No. 17 (Brahms)
Czardas (Monti)
Two Guitars (arr. L. Salzedo)
Zigeuner (Noel Coward - !!!)
Hora Staccato (G. Dinicu)
Moscow Nights (Soloviev-Sedoy)
Hungarian Dance No. 4 (Brahms)
Hora (arr. L. Salzedo)
Till We Meet Again ("P. Stefan")
