"Jewish Voices in America"

New Yorkers and tri-staters: check out the program at the 92nd. St.Y called
"Jewish Voices in America" this Tuesday November 18th at 8 p.m.  Program
includes the Alhambra ensemble performing Sephardic songs collected from
recent immigrants to the U.S. and Canada, David Krakauer's Klezmer Madness,
Lorraine Hunt and Christopher Trakas performing songs by Bernstein, the Ahn
Trio playing  Copland's "Vitebsk", and pianists John Musto and Michael
Barrett performing songs from the American Yiddish theater, including the
Andrews Sisters' number "Bei mir bist du shayn", sung by Karen Holvig,
Isabelle Ganz and Christopher Trakas.
