Re, klezmer & Bulgarian tonality

Hearing about the richness and antiquity of the klezmer tradition is a
surprising bonus to the straightforward pleasure of the music itself!  Thanks
for the additional information.

I perceive similarity to klezmer in the instrumental music by the
sometime-accompanists to the "Mystery of the Bulgarian Voice" vocal ensemble,
on their CD's. Do any of you note such similarity or is it only my tin ear?
