Grisman-Statman in DC

Anyone living in the Washington, DC, area should check out what should be one
of the year's best Jewish concerts. The David Grisman Sextext with Andy
Statman perform traditional Jewish melodies combined with jazz, bluegrass and
gypsy music.

The show will be held on September 27, 1997 at the Lisner Auditorium (George
Washington University).  It will begin at 8:00 p.m., will end before Selichot
services, and is sponsored by the District of Columbia JCC, the UJA
Federation Young Leadership and Lisner.

Tickets are $21 for DCJCC members, $23.50 for non-members and $50 for donors.
