Yiddish Music & Klezmer Festival

The Workmen's Circle is presenting its annual Yiddish music & klezmer
extravaganza on Wednesday, June 25, 7pm at Damrosch Park in Lincoln Center.
The line-up includes the cast from the Broadway Yiddish English musical

plenty of klezmer with the Golden Land Klezmer orchestra, featuring clarinet
great Howard Leshaw, and vocals by Yiddish jazz singer Phyllis Berk. The
festival will pay special tribute to the legendary Yiddish recording star and
crooner Seymour Rechtseit, who originally recorded such standards as Belz,
Ikh Hob Dikh Tsu Fil Lib, Farges Mikh Nit, Der Nayer Sher, and hundreds of
others. AND TO BE SURE, THERE WILL BE A VERY SPECIAL SURPRISE GUEST, WHOM YOU
WILL NOT WANT TO MISS. For information, please call The Workmen's Circle -
