Hi,
No, you didn't ask for it, but as someone who's been down that path I felt it
my obligation to mention it to you before you waste time and money on a
format which may not stand the test of time.
Vis a vis your questions about Gusikov, etc. I am now in the midst of writing
about him, translating Stempenyu and info about xylophones etc for my new
book on the history of klezmer music. When I come up for air (i.e when I
finish) I'll be happy to share my data with you.
