Crumby Music

The cover of a Klezmorim album from the 1970's features a drawing by R. Crumb.
Does anyone know if Crumb had any involvement with the Klezmorim, or was it
simply an existing drawing of his that the group chose to place on its album?
Either way, does anyone know if R. Crumb is involved with klezmer in some
fashion or is even a fan of the music?  I know he has his own band, the Cheap
Suits, but I've heard them and they're more in the manner of dixieland and jazz.
C'mon, any Crumbophiles lurking out there?
