It very possibly is the Andrews Sisters' recording of Bei Mir Bist Du Shoen
that you've gotten your hands on. That was one of their big hits in the '40s,
I believe. They also do an English version of "Yossel Yossel,"  called --
strangely enough -- "Joseph Joseph". Seems Yiddish music and the '40s Big
Band sound have a lot in common...!
