It really depends what you are looking for.  A klezmer band can be devoted
to reviving anything from eastern european 18th c. sounds to immigrant
music from the 1940's and the Borscht Belt.  Am I recommending that you
listen to my recordings?  No!  I recommend that you listen to one of the
excellent reissues of original klezmer bands put out by Folkways,
Folklyric and Global Village Music for a start.  There is nothing like
going back to the sources.  (Would you learn about Dixieland by listing to
a 1995 revival band first??)  First get the original stuff under your
skin.  THEN get my recordings!
