new on the list

Dear friends!
I am new on this list, and would like to indroduce myself:
I am a 33 years old German, living in Copenhagen (Denmark). Together
with my wife, I am practicing jewish music, preferably yiddish music. We
both sing, my wife plays the violin, I play guitar and flute. We became
interested in yiddish music and yiddish culture, when we performed a
yiddish-music-project together with our German choir, years ago. We would
be very happy, if we could help a little bit to preserve the yiddish cultural
asset in Europe, by practicing yiddish music.
Our big problem is to find good sources of yiddish music in Denmark or
Germany. We are interested in finding songs (one or two singers as well as
choir) and instrumental accompaniments also for bigger music groups
including all possible instruments. Unfortunately, we are not able to read
hebrew letters. I am sure anyone can help us. Please write!
