Adrian,

Your comments and concise history of this list are, as usual, interesting
and relevant.  Please accept my congratulations and gratitude for creating
and maintaining this vehicle which has grown into a vibrant community forum.
This list has meant a great deal to me since I came across it a couple of
years ago.  At that time I was making a little bit of Jewish music and
yearning
to learn more.  This list has been a lifeline, not only by providing
answers to the specific questions I couldn't take anywhere else, but by
allowing me to
scan discussions on a wide variety of Jewish music issues.  Now
that I am working as a  choir director, music educator and cantorial
soloist, Hanashir continues to inform, encourage and delight.

Well done.
