At "assemblies" with new people I've done the "Shehecheyanu" - most know it 
already, and if there's kids available I get a few tyg'ers and teach the 
Heivenu (Jeff/Dan's version with Hinei Ma Tov and "ooh aah" - camp version) - 
it's words they know, to new tunes, and they enjoy it! I always have 
songsheets just in case! And, either or both of these can be done in 10 
minutes...........they'll get a "sample" of "ruach" and have fun!
