Meris,
I am not familiar with this particular Eil Nora (although I would like
to know more about it), but the one I sing is from the collection Zamru
Lo (a three volume must have for anyone singing cantorial music). It is
attributed to "Traditional" and has a lovely, haunting melody. The
words are:
Eil nora alilah (2x)
ham-tsah lanu m'chi-lah
bi-sh'at ha-n'i-lah
M'tey mispar k'ru-im
l'cha ayin no-s'im
u-m'sal-dim b'chi-lah
bi-sh'at ha-n'i-lah.
Judy :)
