Friends,
I just discovered a new resource that I thought some of you might be interested
in
for yourselves or those you work with and teach. There are three music books
which contain easy piano arrangements of Jewish songs: 1) Holiday Songs (Maoz
Tzur, Chad Gadya, Chag Purim, Hashkediya, Dreydl); Israeli Songs (Erev Shel
Shoshanim, Yerushalayim Shel Zahav, Machar, Hava Nagila); and 3) Synagogue Music
(El Nora, Ma Tovu, Adom Olam, Kol Nidrei). Although the arrangements are for
the
beginning pianist, they are beautiful and somewhat challenging with nice
counterpoints and good use of both right and left hands -- not just chords
with a
melody in the right hand. No lyrics within the pieces - this is piano music.
If
you are interested in more info., contact www.formantssbytes.com or call
800-200-9872.
