similar messages to the list. Such messages are only to be promulgated by
the list owners or the folks at Shamash itself.

Your best protection is to have good virus protection software on your
system, and keep the definitions up to date.

I heard this warning on the "All News Radio" in SF yesterday.

This has me a little concerned about opening attached files to my shamash
lists newsgroups. A few weeks ago I think we had a worm virus going on the
Pnai Or Rabbis list. I receive all lists by digest to help consolidate
email.

Worm viruses are not a hoax. However, it is my understanding that most of
them can be fixed by the latest versions of Virus Protectors.
