Hi, Ilana!

The Israeli Folk Dance for "Salaam" as I learned it is quite different
from Yoya (or the
Macarena, for that matter).  It's a little more complicated, it's danced
in lines that snake around the room, and it consists of two parts that
can be interchanged (i.e., one line can dance one part while the other
line dances the other part).  Also, in the Israeli Folk Dance, the music
keeps getting faster and faster through to the end.
