[HANASHIR:3048] RE:

Daniel:

Your enthusiasm is good,. Just remember that no workshop, no matter how well
planned and structured, is a panacea. Hearing lots of songs and buying music
books and recordings will get you started-but that is all it will do-get you
started. Don't expect instant results or look for a quick fix.

You will get all you seek and more at Hava Nashira. What is important is
that you continue to study and learn and practice throughout the year, and
the rest of your life.

Consider for a moment what your observation-that so many on this list and
who are going to Hava Nashira are experienced, seasoned songleaders, means.

Good luck to you, and have a wonderful time.

Is there a gym at HaNa? It seems that most of the people on this group are
very well seasoned songleaders, cantors, etc. Are there any beginners? Do
they give out lots of repertoire? Do they sell books there? I'm looking
to expand my rep. considerably.
