regarding yom kippur and water. once i had to drink something during yk
because i was taking a medicine that dried me out to such a degree that
my voice became horribly raspy without. i considered this a pikuach
nefesh situation, and kept a small glass hiddden in the lecturn. i stuck
my finger in the glass and rubbed it on my lips. it would be enough.
without that medicine now i happily do without the water. jonathan g
