Re: installing pick-ups, I've done two, one to "Buddy" (Yamaha) and one to
"SB" (Taylor).  I put Martin pickups in both - the cost was about  $100
(but I think the guy likes me.....) anyway, a pickup is simply that - it
picks up the sound via the system, but you can't control bass, treble, etc.
That has to be done at the board.  In other words, it's not a pre-amp.
I'm sure a good guitar tech could install a pre-amp/pickup, but if anyone
tries to get near my Taylor with a saw..... well... it won't be pretty.

Hope everyone has a restful Shabbat, including those of us who work all the
way through it and Sunday, as well....sigh.....
