[HANASHIR:2776] Re: Guitar travel

I have taken my guitar with me to CAJE every year since 1995 and even
overseas to Israel, and I've always simply taken it on board as hand
luggage. I then look for an overhead compartment which is somewhat full
and lay the guitar on TOP of the other stuff there. Once or twice the
stewardesses have put it for me in a closet up by first class. I am far
from a professional singer, and mine is not an expensive instrument, but
it's dear to me, and I think I would probably make a scene (mild mannered
though I usually am) if someone told me I had to check it!!
