[HANASHIR:2626] Young Songleaders

Hello everyone!

Now that I've moved my ID for the Hava Nashira listserv from work to home, I
can fully participate in the fun!  

It's exciting that young people, such as Lara Aronoff, are so enthusiastic and
dedicated to songleading.  Keep it up!  For some reason, young songleaders
here in southeast Michigan can't be found.  I don't know why.  This is a very
large and active NFTY community, but somehow the songleaders aren't there.
I'm not sure what I can do about it besides whine to you guys and to the
appropriate local rabbis.  For you songleaders who came up through the NFTY
(or equivalent) songleading track, what interested or inspired you to do what
you do?
