    Well, I guess I'm another one of the young songleader ones!  My name is
Lara and I'm 18 and am the songleader for my region (Nfty-Southest), a music
teacher for Temple Kol Emeth in Marietta, Ga, and will be a songleader at UAHC
Camp Coleman this summer.  I remember how amazed I was when I found out that
other regions in nfty hired adult songleaders, instead of it just being an
appointed position for the nftyite.  Of course, the is nothing wrong with
that, but I wonder if the other regions focus as much on training the younger
songleader as my region does, because we have no shortage of songleaders in
the Southeast!! We're all over around here!  In any case, I value older, more
experianced songleaders more than anything..because that's how I learned.  I
think older songleaders should work together with the younger ones for
example, in a youth group setting.  L'dor V'dor of songleaders..its such a
legacy!  I hope to be songleading till I'm too weak to pick up my guitar!!

PS..to other 18 year old..Joel..I met some songleaders from Denver a NFTY
convention..actually in competitions...was this you or your friends?
