Hey, I'm 43 and when they need music, they come running!  They should be
happy to have you.   I assume you're doing stuff that THEY would want to
sing though!    Make sure you're keeping current on new stuff and the "good
old" oldies.  It also helps if you ask some of the better singers to join
you, assist with percussion, etc.   Get them involved WITH you.  good luck
