[HANASHIR:2391] goldenberg software

Ellen Goldenberg: I really didn't choose the Musictime software. One
of my best friends owns a music store in our town and is a wiz and has
made this her specialty. I wanted something for composing keyboard
music. I
am not a Mozart type who can sit down and write music at a desk. I
guess what I do is really improvising rather than composing. This
should be easy. You can set it for almost anything you want to do.
Unfortunately, I haven't really used it yet, because I fell down and
broke my ankle and am just home from surgery. I do know that some of my
friends have a program called Cakewalk, which is not easy. I can tell
you that this program is called MusicTime Deluxe, from Passport
MusicTime Software. Published by Passport Designs, Inc 1151-D Triton
Drive, Foster City, CA 94404 You might write to them and ask for some
info. From what i can tell, this program will do almost anything you
can think of. As for the keyboard, I have a Yamaha PSR 225. It has a
lot of stuff that I am not really in to, such as 100 rhythm patterns and
100 voices, plus tons of other stuff, but the sound is terrific. It
was in the neighborhood of $450. The software is way under $100.
Incidently, I also got a carrycase forthe keyboard, which makes it very
easy for me to carry. I will tell you more when I learn how to use it.
So far, I have printed a C scale!
