[HANASHIR:2196] Subscriber Lists

ListProc has a built in method for subscribers to retrieve a list of
subscribers. It is the "Review" command. That command is disabled for all
but the list owner for this list (Hanashir.)

You may belong to some other lists which have the review command enabled for
subscribers (or even the general public. Here is how to prevent your name
and email from appearing on such a "review" of a list:

To protect your subscription and prevent it from appearing on a list of
subscribers available to other subscribers or the public, send a message to

listproc (at) shamash(dot)org

no subject is necessary.

Include only the text:

set hanashir CONceal YES

in the body of the message. No signatures, etc.

As a general rule, I would find it inappropriate for a subscriber  to
utilize a list of email addresses and names of all the subscribers to the
list for any private mass-mailing or commercial purpose, and I would likely
cancel the subscription of anyone so doing without appropriate consent. That
is why I have REVIEW turned off for this list for all but the listowner.
