Try Linda Hirschhorn's "Ilu Finu" for a new choir.  Certainly not the same
meaning as Sim Shalom, but beautiful meaning and melody nonetheless (and it's
also a 3-part round!)  New choirs will pick up on it instantly and love
singing it.
