[HANASHIR:2083] Re: Torah chant

Dear Susan,

All laypeople at Main Line Reform Temple - and every other synagogue I know of
- chant directly from the Torah. Most temples have classes in cantillation for
interested congregants. There are many learning materials out there, and the
UAHC is now completing one that will have cassette/CD-ROM in addition to a
comprehensive step-by-step manual entitled You Can Read Torah. Be well. Happy
